Cultivate CurriculumĀ
Cultivate is a holistic approach to team leader training and the curriculum consists of 4 major parts which are: Health, Theology, Missiology and Leadership.
Health: There are many dimensions to us as image bearers and when one part of our life is not healthy it tends to bring the others along with it. Ministry pours out from physical, relational, emotional, and spiritual health. We want you to thrive in these areas as a leader and this section is to help participants establish healthy rhythms in all areas of life that will help them to maintain healthy living overseas.

Theology: The work we do on the mission field is born out of the theology we have. What we teach others matters, especially in regard to the Gospel and Godā€™s word. In Cultivateā€™s theology section, the goal is to help you learn, know and understand the metanarrative of Scripture and how to interpret it in light of the whole counsel of Scripture. In areas where the Gospel is new, ideas are rampant. It is imperative to know sound doctrine so that we can teach the local church to know the same.
Missiology: In the Missiology section participants will study the New Testament to understand what the early church did to spread the Gospel as well as look at the history of missions up to contemporary trends. They will also look at what role the Church Planter, the Church and God plays in the spread of the Gospel and healthy reproducing churches. In addition they will learn how to learn their culture and contextualize the Gospel to it.

Leadership: At the core of a team is the leader and their leadership. Without it we are on a road to nowhere. Leadership has the ability to tear down, but also build up and multiply. We believe a great leader not only will grow his team, but help the local church to multiply too. Cultivate teaches you how to set vision, build a team, lead a team while carrying out a strategic plan to reach your people.
360 Assessment: Cultivate Participants will also receive a 360 leadership assessment that empowers leaders with understanding of their leadership strengths and weaknesses. Using the results of their 360 assessment we will identify opportunities they have to improve their overall leadership and make plans to help them do so.
